Let me start by saying that I am terrified of the dentist. I have a lifetime of bad experiences and shoddy work. But I knew something was wrong with one of my molars so I made an appointment. Dr. Muryama was recommended to me by a friend so I reached out to schedule. The experience over the phone was efficient and pleasant. I gave my availability and they helped me find something that worked. After the cleaning (which was pain free easy) and checkup, it was confirmed that I had in infection and my tooth needed to pulled. Again, I am very nervous at the dentist and tend to think of them as Snake Oil salesmen but Dr. Muryama made me feel calm and understood. He explained what was going on but did not make me feel scared nor did he blame me for poor oral hygiene. We discussed out of pocket vs insurance costs and he was forthright about the pros and cons of each. We also discussed whether or not I'd be able to handle the procedure emotionally and the cost-benefit of bringing in an oral surgeon and full anesthesia. Ultimately, I felt that Dr. Murayama was the first dentist that made me feel like I could trust him, so I decided to go with him and no anesthesia. He did express that it would worsen and suggested I come back to have the tooth pulled ASAP. When his openings didn't match mine, he offered to start early in order to get me in on a schedule that worked for me. The day of he helped me to feel relaxed and at ease and even allowed my fiancee to be in the room with me to help me emotionally. After an initial pinch with the lidocaine injection, I actually felt nothing during the procedure (a first in my dental experience). He chatted with me amicably during and kept my spirits up. Afterwards, he gave me a care plan that has allowed healing to be quick and pain free. Dr. Muryama has my business for life and Quarry Creek Dental Group is better for having him. Would recommend this practice and Dr. Muryama to anyone and everyone!

I had very good experience with your people and very thorough and professional with great service. I was very impressed by Dr. Kim that gave me a paper with grade that I never got that before. I’m looking forward to seeing you guys soon.

Very professional team - they took the time to answer all of my questions and clearly explained every step of my treatment. I never felt pressured or like they were trying to upsell unnecessary procedures.
